Two YLLSS students represented Hong Kong in the 4th National Little Golden Bell Youth Speech Competition-Grand Final, winning silver in the national mandarin category and gold in the national Cantonese category, and receiving interviews from mainland media.
On 19th April 2026, CAO Lai-wai and CHAU Tsz-ching traveled to the Guangdong Radio and Television Station in Guangzhou to compete against top contestants from across the nation, including regions such as Macau, Guangzhou, Yunnan, and Inner Mongolia. The competition was broadcast live nationwide in real-time.
During the competition, both students lived up to expectations and received unanimous praise from the judges. Ultimately, CAO won the Silver Award in the National Mandarin Category, while CHAU triumphantly secured the Gold Award in the National Cantonese Category. They were also interviewed on the spot by mainland media.
