In order to maximize students’ use of and exposure to English, the first English Speaking Week officially started today (10/10) with the NETs greeting students at the school entrance in the morning to encourage them to speak in English.
During the first English Speaking Week (held from 10/10 to 14/10), a myriad of fun-filled English activities are to be held in the Chit-Chat Zone every day at lunchtime to arouse students’ interest in using English in their daily lives. It is hoped that students can have fun in learning English through the activities and build up their confidence in using English.
