We were honored to invite Mr. Anthony CHAN(陳銳強), the distinguished public speaker and educator, as well as a professional MC, to give our students a workshop on 28th Aug, 2024.
Mr. CHAN shared his invaluable experience in public speaking from basic to advanced in a lively and interactive way. The workshop was split into two parts. The first part focused on microphone handling, posture, eye contact, body language, voice modulation, and word choice. There were also practical sessions allowing students to apply the skills they acquired. When it comes to perfection, every tiny detail counts.
The second part of the workshop focused on practical skills. Mr. CHAN corrected the pronunciation of some words and guided students through the “Elevator Pitch” practice, which helped boost their overall public speaking skills and presentation, as well as their confidence on stage.
We would like to extend our gratitude to Mr. CHAN and all participants for their dedication. These precious skills will become stepping stones for students to become better leaders. These skills will be refined and grow with time and experience, becoming part of the essential skills of future leaders.
