YLLSS Students shine at Geneva International Invention Exhibition

At the 50th Geneva International Inventions Exhibition held in Switzerland, young makers from Hong Kong once again demonstrated their extraordinary creativity and technological capabilities! Our school, as one of the participating teams, was invited by e-zone for an interview earlier.

With their innovative “Space Sprout” project, students CHAN Yan-yuet, YIP Pui-ching and LEUNG Chung-hei Arthur transformed traditional plant cultivation into a vertical design, which not only saves space but also increases yields! This project eventually won the “Rising All-Star” special award and provided new ideas for food supply for future space missions!

Another group of students, CHAN Yi-tsung, WONG Ho-chun and CHAN Man-ting, invented the “YYLLMARS-1” satellite, which is specifically designed to remove space debris and convert it into energy. Their environmental protection concept not only won the silver medal but also provided a potential solution for future migration to Mars!

This exhibition not only showcases their creativity but also allows the world to see the results of Hong Kong’s STEAM education!
