The 3rd ParentPro Career Expo (Parents’ Professional Sharing)

The 3rd ParentPro Career Expo (Parents’ Professional Sharing) was successfully held!

How can we guide students to find a clear direction when facing the critical moments of high school subject selection, university joint admissions and career planning? In order to help Form 3 and Form 5 students explore their personal interests and gain a deeper understanding of industry trends, our school’s Careers and Life Planning Education Committee is honored to invite 12 parents from various fields to serve as speakers to share their workplace experiences, professional insights and industry outlooks.

Before the event started, Principal Mr. WAN used the “brick-moving metaphor” to explain the true meaning of the workplace: the seemingly ordinary brick-moving work can realize value in labor if it is carried out with the belief of “building pillars for the city”; just like in all walks of life, no matter how big or small the position is, as long as there is responsibility and enthusiasm, one can shine in the professional field, as the saying goes, “Knowledge is everywhere, and every path is the workplace.” Afterwards, the guests and students exchanged ideas in groups, and each classroom was transformed into a knowledge salon. The students listened attentively and asked questions actively. They gained career inspiration from the collision of ideas and gradually outlined a blueprint for the future.

The school sincerely thanks the parents for their generous sharing! It is not only a gathering of professional knowledge, but also an in-depth practice of the SPIRE concept of happiness. It also allows students to deeply realize that no matter which career path they choose or what kind of work they do, only by adhering to professionalism and serving the society can they become more valuable and gain their own SPIRE happiness!
