Sing Tao Headline – Lunar New Year Fair 2026 | YLLSS Launches Fair Stall with AI-Integrated Products; Principal: Learning Through Practice and Exploring Career Development

We are excited to announce that our school’s teacher-student-operated Lunar New Year stall is now officially open! Traditional New Year flavors collide with AI creativity, adding a fresh technological twist to the festive joy! Our teachers and students have designed Year of the Horse mascots—the blue “Siusiu Horse”(Smiling Horse) and the pink “Hoho Horse”(Chuckle Horse)—making their joyful debut to symbolize constant smiles and good fortune. The student team utilized AI technology to design various unique outfits for the mascots and created an exclusive Lunar New Year theme song and promotional video. By applying AI to commercial promotion, they have empowered creativity with technology, injecting trendy vitality into the fair!

Our school cat, Shunshun, has also made a surprise appearance as the “Shunshun Cat” plushie. Half of the profits from its sales will be donated to the HK Saving Cat and Dog Association (HKSCDA), putting social care into action. Furthermore, all profits from the Lunar New Year products, after deducting costs, will be allocated to the School Development Fund to support underprivileged students and the procurement of campus equipment, ensuring a cycle of New Year goodwill!

From preparation to operation, our students formed a team simulating a corporate structure, with accounting, marketing, promotion, and design departments, each fulfilling their roles while supporting one another. They even invited parents from the business community to provide guidance on optimizing products and business strategies. Through this authentic commercial practice, students have accumulated experience and explored career paths, making the Lunar New Year fair not just a joyful market, but a practical classroom for applying knowledge!

May the New Year bring you success (as swift as a horse), constant smiles, and warmth.
