Home and Youth Affairs Bureau Presents: 2025 Youth Development Summit

On 27th September, by invitation of the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau, eight students from our school’s gifted program actively participated in the “Youth Development Summit” and pledged to become a new generation of youth who love the country and Hong Kong, possess a global perspective, are aspirational, and bear positive thinking.

The theme of this summit was “Connecting the World into the Future”. The morning session, themed “Youth Creativity Energy”, was officiated by the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr. CHAN Kwok-ki, and featured keynote speeches by the Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs, Ms. Alice MAK, and other principal officials responsible for youth policies from different regions. The afternoon included three thematic forums, where leaders from various fields served as guest speakers to discuss and share their valuable experiences and insights on technological innovation, cultural and creative industries, and unleashing youth potential and development. Our students were very fortunate to have a group photo with Ms. Alice MAK, the Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs, and Mr. Yevgeniy KOCHETOV, the Deputy Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
