At the invitation of the Education Bureau, our school organized the “Blessing Hong Kong” calligraphy activity to jointly promote excellent traditional Chinese culture and cultivate students’ sense of belonging to the country and national identity. Teachers, students, and parents gathered together to wield their brushes and ink, welcoming the arrival of the Year of the Horse.
Principal Mr. WAN, Vice Principals, Assistant Principals, parents, teachers, staff, and students focused on writing the character “福” (Blessing) on red paper, with each stroke revealing their love for traditional culture. This activity not only allowed teachers, students, and parents to immerse themselves in the charm of calligraphy art but also sowed the seeds of Chinese culture in everyone’s heart. Each well-formed “福” character carries everyone’s expectations and blessings for the new year and bears witness to our school’s efforts in promoting Chinese culture and cultivating national sentiment.
The activity concluded successfully. We will select outstanding pieces to participate in the Education Bureau’s exhibition, allowing more people to see the talents of our teachers and students and their beautiful wishes for the Year of the Horse.
