Our Chinese Department is honored to invite Dr. CHUI Pui-chee, a renowned calligrapher and ink artist, to give lectures to gifted calligraphy students. Dr. CHUI has received the Young Artist Award from the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the Award for Young Artist (Visual Arts) from the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, and was one of the shortlisted finalists for Sovereign Asian Art Prize in 2015, 2018 and 2020. During the two-week calligraphy class, Dr. CHUI carefully taught the students how to run the pen, and everyone was immersed in the beauty of calligraphy. Thanks to the calligraphy class this time, students’ calligraphy skills will definitely be greatly enhanced!
