Members of Chinese History Club went for San Tin for a field trip. Through exploring the hermitage ‘Tai Fu Tai Mansion’, students developed deeper understanding on the Man’s family and the history of Hong Kong cargo transportation. Also, students could appreciate the architectural features of the Wen’s Mansion. Working in groups, taking pictures and videos of the site with 360 degree cameras, students enjoyed the trip so much.
Besides, students can experience the fun of virtual reality (VR) at the STEAM VR Experience Centre. The design of the VR activities has combined the knowledge of Chinese History with technology. The activities allowed the students to travel in time, and experience the ancient life. All of the students engaged in the activity and had a great day.
