HK01 – Principal’s Notes: Creation, Ki’s Dreams

In the prestigious The ELCHK Yuen Long Lutheran Secondary School, every student is a dream chaser. Following the February performance of “Student Who Breathes Music” Principal Mr. WAN, in his latest “Principal’s Notes” titled “Creation, Ki’s Dreams” shared the artistic journey of student NG Pak-ki.

At the crossroads of youth, art is an important choice for S3 students. Pak-ki, immersed in the passion for both science and visual arts, firmly believes, “The subject you truly love is your guiding light.” His dedication to art and his family’s support allow him to shine brightly.

At the beginning of this academic year, Pak-ki participated in the school’s elite art and culture exchange program. From the Orsay Museum in Paris to Tokyo’s TeamLab, his artistic horizons were greatly broadened. These journeys allowed him to experience diverse artistic styles and find new inspiration in his life.

Principal Mr. WAN highly appreciates Pak-ki’s artistic achievements and promises to fully support his upcoming solo exhibition. This exhibition, titled ” Ki’s Thoughts: Flow of Light ” showcases his cherished works. Under Principal Mr. WAN’s encouragement, two other junior students will also hold a joint exhibition in the next semester, further pursuing their artistic dreams.

This is the sacred place of education, carefully nurturing every child’s dream, allowing them to radiate their unique brilliance on their own paths.
