Our a cappella school team Basel and the Handbell Team performed two songs in Kwong Ming Ying Loi School Variety Show 2018 on 29 April. The first song is “This is Me”. This is a song performed by Keala Settle for the film The Greatest Showman. It brings out an encouraging message that with faith, we can overcome challenges and difficulties. The second song is “Beneath the Lion Rock”. It is a famous theme song of a TV show about the lives of Hong Kong citizens. The lyrics remind us that although we face uncertainties or hardship, but when there is a will, there is a way. Through the music, students would like to share a positive attitude of life with the audience and bring them joy.
