S.1 Music Orientation Day

The ‘S.1 Music Orientation Day’, hosted by the Arts Development Committee, concluded with great success! This vibrant event was split into two dynamic parts, each showcasing an array of artistic talent.

The first segment began with a stirring violin solo by our Head Teacher of Music, Mr. YEUNG Hon-kwan. Following this, external instructors presented demonstrations of the trombone, trumpet, erhu, and flute, captivating the audience with a rich tapestry of sounds. The collaboration between the String Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, Chinese Music Ensemble, and the tutors enhanced the experience, offering a richer melodic tapestry. The finale brought an exhilarating performance from the Show Choir, infusing the event with passion and energy.

The second segment featured eight interactive booths, showcasing the handbell team, show choir, vocal bands, Sinfonietta, Chinese drumming team, Chinese musical ensemble, Chinese dancing team, percussion ensemble, and the Science and Arts team. These booths offered students the chance to engage with each group through fun games and instrument trials, allowing them to experience the joy of music firsthand. The S1 students thoroughly explored the charm of the arts and were profoundly inspired by the dedication and passion of their seniors.
