Our school launched “The ELCHK Yuen Long Lutheran Secondary School Summer Institute (2018)”. It is a 4-day programme for primary elite students to acquire knowledge in a fun way. Different key learning areas like real life English, Science and Technologies were covered. 45 students from 8 promising primary schools in our district joined the programme.
During the course, experiences like English Drama, Physics laboratory activities, I.T. workshops and controlling a drone with VR box had been provided to the students to arouse their interests in learning. On the last day of the programme, all students took part in a full English presentation about the things they had learnt in this Summer Institute. All students did a terrific job and enjoyed a lot in the programme.
