“The Sounds of Christmas” at Yoho Mall

On December 23, we hosted “The Sounds of Christmas” at Yoho Mall, filled with festive joy and happiness! The entire event attracted over a hundred student participants, who dedicated three months of preparation and showcased incredible enthusiasm and effort!

The event started with a lively Christmas Medley performed by Handbell Team A and Team B, prompting the audience to sway along with the rhythm. Next, the vocal choirs Euphonia and Sparklers sang several classic Christmas songs, including “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Santa Claus is Coming to Town,” and “Joy to the World,” spreading the joy of Christmas to every audience member!

A special group of guest performers, the children’s choir from the Hong Kong YLDAC Music + Treble Choir, also performed four classic Christmas songs. The children’s adorable performances were truly touching!

Following that, a piano duet featuring 1C WONG Chi-ying , 1D HO Wing-sze, and 3D CHAN Wai-tsung played “Winter Wonderland” and “Jingle Bell Rock,” creating a warm atmosphere. The String Ensemble then performed “The First Noel” and “Deck the Hall,” further enhancing the Christmas spirit in the venue!

Principal Mr. WAN, Vice-principals, Assistant Principals, and teachers also joined in to sing “We Wish You A Merry Christmas,” bringing the atmosphere to a climax! Everyone sang joyfully together, filled with laughter!

We would also like to thank all the members involved in the musical performances, including the Principal, teachers, office staff, and janitors, for their dedicated efforts. Everyone worked together to make the event a great success! The support and assistance of parents provided the greatest backing for the students, ensuring the event ran smoothly! Additionally, the thoughtful arrangements and training by teachers namely Miss LAI Wan-kam, Mr. YEUNG Hon-kwan, Miss TANG Oi-ting, and Miss LI Tin-chun from the Arts Development Committee made the performances outstanding and acclaimed!

Finally, the Christmas choir concluded the event with “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” and “Have a Holly Jolly Christmas,” wrapping up the event perfectly! The entire event was filled with music, laughter, and festive joy, allowing us to truly feel the Christmas spirit!
