The warmth of Christmas, overflowing with God’s grace, has not yet faded, and the brand new Year of the Horse is about to arrive with the rising sun. Joy permeates throughout the campus. Secondary One students write “福” (good fortune) with Chinese brushes, their strokes brimming with happiness; senior students carry decorations and hang scrolls, carefully adorning every corner of the campus; the Chinese Culture Ambassador wields his brush to create Spring Festival couplets, bringing a vibrant spirit to the campus; our Principal also personally writes “福” as the character for “heart,” filling the students with heartfelt blessings.
At this moment before the Lunar New Year holidays, students are engrossed in their exams. Secondary Six students are especially focused on preparing for the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE). May everyone perform steadily and deliver satisfactory results. Just as the couplet says, “With both pride and pleasure, we eagerly pursue new milestones.”, young people should cherish lofty ambitions and strive diligently towards their dreams. The bright red couplets in the garden reflect the vibrant smiles of the young people, and also hide another expectation—“Take hold of the opportunity and pursue our dreams with happy hearts.” May we seize the opportunity in the Year of the Horse and soar high.
