Last week (20th November 2025), The ELCHK Yuen Long Lutheran Secondary School was once again filled with the warmth and love of the Watoto Children’s Choir! We were honored to host these little angels from Uganda, East Africa, for a vibrant performance and cultural exchange! Beyond the breathtaking song and dance performances, the most precious thing was the genuine interaction and harmony between students, teachers, and performers! Everyone played games, shared laughter, and the atmosphere was incredibly lively!
The Watoto Childre’s Choir is composed of orphans from Uganda. With the theme “Better Days – There Is Hope,” they used their life stories to declare to every student that God is love. The core of the entire concert was that unwavering ‘hope’—encouraging us to never lose heart and never give up, because in the Lord Jesus Christ, Better days are ahead!
Our student leaders had in-depth exchanges with the members of Watoto. We not only gained a better understanding of each other’s lives but also deeply felt their indomitable vitality. At the same time, they also felt the warm support and care from our entire school. Then, a joyful bubble soccer and motion-sensing game battle brought everyone closer together! Friendships were built amidst laughter—a vibrant manifestation of God’s grace and love.
We thank God for this precious opportunity, allowing every participating student to experience a spiritual and enriching journey.
