Finally, a long-awaited reunion! In November 2023, we had the pleasure of hosting the Watoto Children’s Choir once again at Yuen Long Lutheran Secondary School for a performance! In addition to enjoying lunch together and engaging in cultural exchange, the highly anticipated Watoto music and dance performance was carried out successfully! Students, teachers, and performers all came together, creating an exciting and enthusiastic atmosphere!
The Watoto Children’s Choir is a choir composed of African orphans. By welcoming the Watoto children, we could experience their vitality whilst showing them our support and care. Our embrace can provide them with comfort, closeness, and a sense of acceptance, which all stem from our love for them.
During a special press conference, students had in-depth conversations with members of the Watoto Choir. Through a question-and-answer format, students gained a deeper understanding of Watoto’s work and witnessed God’s grace and love.
We are grateful to God for giving us the opportunity to interact with the Watoto children! We believe that it was a spiritually enriching experience for each person involved.
