2025 First Lego League Global Competition

On April 14, our school students and representatives from Star Club Scientist Education attended the 2025 First Lego League Global Competition held in Houston, USA as the Hong Kong representative team! The participating students include CAO Lai-wai, LEUNG Wai-hin, CHOI Yee-ka Ada, CHAN Long-fung and WONG Man-kiu. The competition is divided into four exciting parts:

– Innovation Project

– Presentation

– Robot Game

– Core Value

The theme of this year’s competition is the underwater world, and students need to design and create an innovative prototype to provide a solution to the challenges of this theme. In addition, they need to program and control the robots to complete a series of tasks in the shortest possible time.

The competition was thrilling and students had to concentrate, use their time flexibly, and develop appropriate strategies to overcome challenges. After competing and exchanging with 159 strong teams from all over the world, they unfortunately failed to win any prizes in the end. However, their hard preparations over the past few weeks were not in vain, because through the experience of these large-scale international competitions, they not only enhanced their self-confidence, but also broadened their horizons. This was a rare and precious experience!
