The Chinese Culture Week came to a successful conclusion in the festive atmosphere of the campus. After the grand opening ceremony on Monday, Tuesday’s intangible cultural heritage shadow puppet show was enjoyed by the students, who were eager to experience this art form. From Wednesday to Friday, students participated in traditional booth activities such as making flour dolls, sugar-coated haws, picture scrolls, Cuju (ancient Chinese football), and paper-making, allowing them to experience the charm of Chinese traditional culture. There was also a literature quiz game organized by the Chinese literature students, which attracted a group of interested students to join the challenge. The Traditional Handicraft Club’s booth for making red envelope lanterns was also very popular, and everyone went home happily with their lanterns! The Lantern Festival is naturally incomplete without the lantern riddle game. Our clever students quickly came up with the answers, winning small gifts for themselves.
