Use of Technology in Teaching and Learning

Our school leverages technology to enhance learning. Students access a school-approved AI platform for personalized guidance and feedback from teachers. The platform also allows students to practice key skills like comprehension, listening, and pronunciation, with immediate feedback to support their development.

Collaborative Learning

Collaborative learning is a core part of our curriculum. Students work together on group tasks, such as writing projects and group presentations, which emphasize the use of English for communication. This allows students to learn from and with their peers, developing important teamwork and language skills in the process.

Immersive English Environment

Our school creates an English-rich environment through initiatives like English Speaking Weeks, where engaging activities are organized and students are encouraged to use English in all interactions. The English Café and Friday English platform also give students opportunities to interact with our NETs, English teachers and English Ambassadors. These programs cultivate confidence and fluency in the language.

Diversified Assignment Submission Mode

In order to unlock students’ full potential and showcase their diverse talents, apart from written assignments, at least one non-written mode of assignment is assigned to students. Meanwhile, in junior forms, students are allowed to choose an assignment submission method according to their strengths. This flexibility allows students to demonstrate their skills and knowledge in the way that best suits their strengths.

One-on-one Online English Oral Practice Program

Our school subsidizes this programme that focuses on enhancing students’ confidence in speaking in English in a non-academic setting. Through regular oral practices with external native English-speaking tutors online, participants develop adequate speaking skills and enhance their ability to communicate effectively.

After-school Group Chat with NETs

To support students who struggle with English, we offer after-school group chat sessions with our NETs in the Chit Chat Zone. These face-to-face sessions allow students to practice conversing in English in a small group setting, helping build their confidence and motivation to use the language.
