During the live virtual tour, our students virtually walked the streets and got a look at Solar Settlement in Karlsruhe and The Chateau of Karlsruhe – Karlsruhe Castle Square. Students also explored urban design of the “Fan City” in Germany and understood how the principle of the modern urban sustainable city development was adopted in Karlsruhe by visiting the famous historical palace. They also had an opportunity to interview local Germans to know more about their environmentally-friendly practices in their city and their attitudes towards renewable energy policy. With the use of technology, students could break the boundary and explore cultural diversity in the world.
