S.3 students joined a Virtual Study Tour to Beijing which was organized by our school‘s Chinese Language Department.
Our tour guide led students to follow a local, Arrow, to visit the Forbidden City.
Following the Central Axis of the Courtyards, students visited the Maridian Gate, Hall of Supreme Harmony, Palace of Heavenly Purity, Hall of Union and The Palace of Earthly Tranquility. They heard a lot of interesting historical stories and learnt a lot of cultural knowledge.
Students also joined a Cloisonné Workshop led by mentors. They twisted and reshaped golden threads and painted various colours on them, producing splendid craftworks.
