In order to maximize students’ exposure to and appreciation of the Chinese culture, Chinese Culture Week with a theme of “詩情畫意中華情” was held from 22/2 to 26/2. During the Chinese Culture Week, a myriad of activities including the couplet writing competition, lantern riddle guessing games, exhibitions about Chinese culture and the classic Chinese novels as well as paper lanterns DIY workshops were held to motivate students’ interest in Chinese culture and the learning of the Chinese language. Our principal, Mr. Wan, vice-principals and teachers even wore Chinese traditional clothes to celebrate the event. Students enjoyed Chinese culture in a relaxed manner in the Chinese Culture Week.
