With the aims of letting S.1 students and parents know more about Christian faith and the ELCHK Tin Yiu Life Lutheran Church, the Education Sunday Service cum S.1 Blessing Ceremony was held on September 23. Before the ceremony began, Evangelist Lam and the School Fellowship praised the Lord with heart and voice. We also invited Rev. Cheung Chun Wah, the ELCHK School supervisor to give us a sermon and share the topic on soul and honesty.
Besides, in order to show home-school and the church cooperation, all S.1 students received warm blessing from Rev. Mr. Cheung, School supervisor Mr. Yee, Evangelist Lam, Principal Mr. Wan, Vice Principal Mr. Tam and Ms. Tang as well as the chairperson of Religion Committee Mr. Lam. Students also received a wooden box which conveys the message of “gospel is from the gifts of God” and the box was filled with gospel cards written by the Principal, the ELCHK Tin Yiu Life Lutheran Church, class teachers, Religion Studies teachers and parents. At the end of the ceremony, five parent representatives also gave encouragement to students and wish them for a brighter future.
