Life-wide Learning Activity Day successfully held!

S.1 and S.5 students learnt about the profundity of Chinese traditional performing arts through the Sichuan Opera “Bian Lian” (Mask changing) and Chinese Acrobatic Performance Workshops. The experience session was the highlight of the event, leaving a lasting memory on all participants.

All S.3 students visited the Hong Kong Palace Museum to experience Chinese art and culture, trace the history of Chinese Qing dynasty, and understand how contemporary art is inspired by Chinese culture and inheritance.

S.2 students attended Human Library Workshop, Climate Change Theatre Education Workshop and Food Angel Museum. They acquired more knowledge on global and community issues and reflected on how they should care for the Earth and the public.

S.4 students visited the Tzu Chi Environmental Action Centre, The Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens, and Tai Kwun. Students made environmentally-friendly products in a soothing environment, understood animal ecology in an outdoor park, and listened to conservation projects in a revitalizing historical building. All of these enhanced students’ understanding and care for the community.

We value growth and learning for the future. Through a variety of learning experiences, the Life-wide Learning Day allows Lutheranians to accumulate learning experiences in different areas and cultivate whole-person development.
