Australia Study Tour

With the aims of broadening students’ horizons and enriching their growth experience, 27 students from S.1 to S.5 had engaged in a 10-day Australia Study Tour conducted by the Arts Development Committee.

Students were divided into groups to research topics of the history and folk music of Australia. They visited Melbourne, the capital and most populous city of Australian state of Victoria and they had an astonishing experience by having lessons in English and both Music. With fascinating field trips around Melbourne, students were awed by the magnificent natural scenery of the The Twelve Apostles along the Great Ocean Road and the HealesvilleSancturay in Yarra Valley.
They found this tour unforgettable and the experience meaningful, especially in the practice of Australian folk songs and the performances in Queens and the Freemasons Victoria Retirement Centre and Federation Square. Not only can the students establish various learning experience through this tour, but they also gain insights into the Australian culture.
